Have you ever had to come up with money that you didn't have to pay your bills? Have you ever had to leave something off the list or leave something behind at the cash register because you couldn't afford everything in the shopping cart? Have you ever had to borrow money from a friend or request an extension to meet a demand for payment?  Have there been a time when you couldn't help someone else who desperately needed your help because you didn't have what they needed at the time - whatever the need may have been? Maybe the need wasn't money. It was love, or forgiveness, helping hand, a kind word, or even a smile. Maybe you have; maybe you haven't.

Do you know someone who has never had that problem? I am not talking about a person who has enough to meet his/her needs or the needs of his/her family.  I am talking about someone who meets the needs of countless billions of people living on the planet every day, who has always had enough and will never run out of resources. I am talking about God; Elohim, Yahweh (or Jehovah), the Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent LORD of all. He has more than enough to meet every need on the planet and counting.

Have you talked to Him about your problem? Have you discussed your lack of resources and needs with Him?  I didn't ask you if you have thought about it. I asked; have you talked to Him about it? Check out the following scriptures:

"I have no need of a bull from your stall or of goats from your pens, for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine (Psalm 50-9-11 NIV).

"The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty" (Haggai 2:8 NIV).

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 4:19 NIV).

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8 NIV).

Again, I asked, "Have you talked to Him lately?" He was never, is not, and never will be broke, short on supply, or unable to meet your needs. Have a little talk with Jesus and see the difference it will make.

Blessings!
