Feelings! We all have them. But how do you view them? Do you trust your feelings to reveal the truth? Do you subscribe to your feelings and have you given them the power to rule your life? Do you base your decisions on feelings? Do you treat what your feelings dictate as the gospel truth? When you feel good do you believe you are on the right path and when you don't, do you   question God's love for you?

Psalm 103:13 reminds us, "As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him." And just in case you have trouble identifying with a father-figure, hear these words of God from Isaiah 49:15-16, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands..." Again, David puts his pen to paper and in Psalm 27:10 he declares, "Though my mother and father forsake me, the LORD will receive me."

Faith or Feelings; what's it going to be? God has not changed His mind about you. Do not allow your feelings to change your mind about God. Put your faith in Him and trust His love for you.

Blessings!
