In Deuteronomy 10:12-13, is a command that should not be taken lightly. It makes for a big difference in life. When we fear the Lord, we put Him first, and as we do, the evidence is demonstrated in a life that flows.
Check this out:
Fear the Lord, Love the Lord, Obey the Lord, Wait on the Lord, Serve the Lord. In other words, if you seek Him first; all that you need will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). When you do this, your life flows in the right direction.
On the other hand, when He is not first, the outcome changes. Your life experiences then look more like this:
Leave your first love; that's your loss
Obstruction of vision; inability to see clearly and obstacles become more obtrusive
Worry overtakes your mind; you stop waiting and worshiping
Seek to please man and in the process become self-serving
Which one of the above describes your life at the moment? Perhaps it is time, you stop, reflect and allow Christ to redirect the pattern of your life.
